OLDER
BROTHERS |
Biography,
discography & family tree |
Another group project Skip Battin started
in the summer of 1982 and which lasted till the beginning of 1983 was called
the OLDER BROTHERS. They were formed by Skip Battin, Eddie Ponder and a singer
named Larry Dale, who was a typical country blues guitarist from Memphis, Tennessee.
They did many gigs around L.A. They were "working not too much seriously,
at a low profile professionally", said Skip Battin, "but with a lot
of fun!"

Sometimes the OLDER BROTHERS were assisted
by Sneaky Pete Kleinow. Even though they played some BURRITO songs they did
sound completely different.
